Description

In ruins today, the building is located west of the pond and was described by Minnie Wagoner’s report as follows: with the completion in 1936 of a modern brick building to replace the former cramped, small milk house, the institution had one of the best equipped milk plants in Oklahoma.

The equipment included a 200 gallon pasteurizing machine. Equipment was also purchased to enable this plant to manufacture its own milk products, such as cottage cheese, cultured buttermilk, butter, etc.
