Description
A Sanborn Fire Insurance Map of Talihina, Oklahoma, dated December 1924. This map documents the Choctaw-Chickasaw Sanatorium (shown left on map) and the State Tuberculosis Sanatorium (shown right on map), located on the Winding Stair Mountain range northwest of Talihina, Oklahoma.
The buildings original to the State Tuberculosis Sanatorium site (subsequently known as the Eastern Oklahoma Tuberculosis Sanatorium); the administration building, hospital, and patients pavilion no longer exist.
