Description

North elevation looking east.

Constructed in 1930 as a children's facility, this building accommodated 65 patients with primary tuberculosis. Each wing housed sleeping porches on the south with dressing rooms on the north. The first floor's central block featured a reception room for visitors, a head nurse’s office, a treatment room, and a dining hall and kitchen. The second floor had two isolation wards of four beds each, two rooms for nurses, a solarium, and a school room.
