Description
East elevation.
Constructed in 1928, the Service Building housed the kitchen, dining room, store, cold storage room, and a large auditorium, as well as employee quarters upstairs.
This photo also features an important symbol associated with the crusade against tuberculosis; a modified version of the Cross of Lorraine. The cross is painted on the water tower in the background and is evident in the building's window design.
